    Full Gamer Controls
There is so much to talk about with the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Esports gaming keyboard.PerformanceThe Razer Huntsman V3 Pro uses analog optical switches that react the moment you touch them, which makes the keyboard feel incredibly fast. The actuation range can be adjusted anywhere from a light tap to a deeper press, so you can tune the keys to match your play style. Rapid Trigger allows near instant repeated input, which helps a lot with shooters and fast movement games.Speed and ResponsivenessThe keyboard runs at an 8 kHz polling rate, which is eight times faster than standard gaming boards. The Snap Tap feature also prioritizes the latest pressed key, so you can perform an action without releasing the previous input.Controls and Adjustment FeaturesThe digital dial makes volume changes easy, and it mutes the sound with one press. When you mute the audio, the dial turns red, so you are fully aware when it is muted. You can also quickly adjust the actuation with fn + tab and adjust Rapid Trigger with fn + caps. Located above the arrow keys is a small digital display that shows a row of small lit dots so you can see the exact level of the adjustments being made. This display also has icons to represent active status of functions. For example, the “C” will light up when cap locks are on. Another cool function is there is a sleep button on the keyboard, hitting this put both the keyboard and the computer in sleep mode. Finally, if you want full control to customize, there’s a macro button on F9 key. Hitting this allows you to create/record macro to complete functions with the press of a single button.Build QualityThe brushed aluminum top plate gives the board a very solid feel with no flex and looks amazing. The overall structure feels premium, smooth, and built for heavy play. The board includes a full number pad and a ton of dedicated control buttons. They even designed the bottom of the keyboard with “For Gamers. By Gamers” slogan all over, looks cool.Comfort and DesignIncluded with the keyboard was a leatherette wrist rest that attaches via magnets. It stays connected to the keyboard well and feels supportive. When it comes to RGB lighting, it does not disappoint. It offers multiple effects and can be customized or turned off through the software or directly on the keyboard. Currently, I have mine set to the wave effect with all the lights.ConnectivityThis is a wired only design made for competitive gaming. It uses a detachable USB-C to USB-A cable that is about 6.5 ft long.SoftwareThe app gives full control over the keyboard. You can adjust Rapid Trigger, actuation levels, lighting brightness, and even customize switches individually or all at once. It also lets you turn RGB off completely if you prefer a simple look.Cons –This is a wired only keyboard. However, I understand this is for competitive gaming, so I understand the reasoning. If you love textile sound when typing you will love this, but if you prefer quiet, this is not it. Personally, I like the way it feels and responds when I type.

If you need brush sensitive keys this is your keyboard
This 5 star review has a very strong *, if you need to dial in the exact level of sensitivity each keypress requires and money is no object, this is your keyboard without a doubt. The optical keys can sense the lightest of touches and you can set, either with keypresses or with software, the exact amount needed to register as a key stroke. But if you’re looking for something with lots of extra key programability, a better great value or silent key presses then I would give it 4 stars.Beyond it’s star feature this is still a premium keyboard. The keycaps, which are replaceable have a premium matte feel and each one has it’s own RGB light underneath. While the keys are not silent, they are not loud either and have a good keypress feedback sound. The body is metal and has a nice heft to it. The riser feet are adequate, but I would like to see a little more adjustability. The wrist rest isn’t plush, but is okay and it snaps on with magnets. The Razer software is mature and stable and offers a lot of options.Overall, if you need a keyboard that you can change how it responds on the fly, this is your keyboard. You can switch from long stroke for typing to keep accidental presses away to insanely short stroke for when you need super fast hairpin triggers.

A champion if you have what it takes! (money)
I’ve been testing the Huntsman V3 Pro with its 8000 Hz polling rate for a while now, and wanted to share my experience.Build & DesignComing in under 900g, the keyboard still manages to feel premium thanks to its brushed aluminum top plate. The doubleshot PBT keycaps have a nice texture and hold up well against shine over time. RGB is fully per-key customizable and looks fantastic. The magnetic wrist rest is included, which sounds great in theory, but in practice it’s nearly flat and not particularly comfortable. I stopped using it pretty quickly.Switches & TypingThe Gen-2 Analog Optical Switches are the highlight here. Actuation can be dialed anywhere from 0.1mm to 4.0mm, and the 40g actuation force keeps things light and responsive. Once you find your sweet spot, the board feels incredibly fast. Typing accuracy has been solid for me, though be warned: these switches are loud.Gaming PerformanceThis is where the 8000 Hz polling rate and adjustable actuation really prove their worth. In competitive shooters, the difference is tangible. Setting actuation to 0.1mm makes inputs almost instant, though it can be too touchy at times. Dialing it up slightly gave me the ideal balance between speed and control. Rapid Trigger Mode handles input spamming exactly as promised, and Snap Tap (which prioritizes your most recent directional input) provides a subtle but genuine advantage in titles like CS2 and Fortnite.Software & ExtrasRazer Synapse offers deep customization for actuation points, lighting, macros, and profiles, though the sheer number of options can feel overwhelming at first. Fortunately, you can toggle Rapid Trigger, Snap Tap, and actuation settings directly from the keyboard using shortcuts, which is a lifesaver during matches. My one gripe: the media keys and volume wheel are awkwardly positioned.VerdictAt $249.99, this isn’t a casual purchase. If you’re a casual gamer, it’s hard to justify. But for competitive FPS players hunting for every possible edge? The 8000 Hz polling rate combined with adjustable actuation and Snap Tap might make it worthwhile. I’d personally keep an eye out for a sale, but serious competitors may find it delivers the responsiveness they’re after.Score: 7/10 (held back by its premium price)
