Fantastic modern replacement for the GBA SP
This handheld is excellent and easily one of the best modern takes on the classic GBA SP design. The clamshell form factor feels solid and nostalgic, while the screen is bright, sharp, and clear. Nice little device!!! Perfect for kids!
This is the perfect little machine for fans of retro games. It can play almost anything including bunches of arcade games. I’ve tried mostly GBC, GBA, and even a wonderswan color game! I tried to run an n64 game that did so pretty smoothly. Partner tried a psp game on it and it did run okay. For sure, this is best for GB, GBC, and GBA, ESPECIALLY GBA….idk it just looks perfect….the screen is very nice to run such games. They look a bit better than the original IMO. The system is very easy to use. All you have to do is charge it up when you receive it and it has some games built into it right out of the box that of course, you can add to them, delete, and replace them easily by connecting the provided microSD card to your computer. It has 2 slots for microSD cards. The first one is a provided 64gb card and it contains the OS/system files. You can put games on it, too, but if you add another card to the other slot, up to 512gb, that’s all for games and these being retro, you can fit so many games in there. It does have a sleep function if you’re out and about and playing then interupted, you can just fold it and put it in your pocket and it’ll go into sleep mode. When you want to play again, just open it up and continue where you left off…..HOWEVER, standby time of sleep mode isn’t very great….it’ll die in sleep mode overnight!! The battery does last a good amount of time actively playing and you are able to play it while charging. You can easily charge off a power bank, too, which I tried. It felt good in my hands for short periods of time, but I wouldn’t recommend any adult play this for hours on end, they will get hand cramps. It’s just not ergonomic and I feel the design is better suited for a young kid’s hands. The system is also a little slugish even at 2gb of RAM but once you launch your game, it’s fine. Overall, it is good value for the money, hands down. Get this, great for your collection, your kid, or makes a good gift for your beloved retro game fan. I recommend it.

Impressive GBA SP Style Rom Player
Gave this a shot because I wanted a small game player for traveling and an original GBA SP is expensive. I was surprised by the quality of the unit. It feels solid and nice in the hand, the buttons have a nice click to them, and the screen is bright and crisp. It’s a good size and easily fits in a pocket. Adding and removing games to the unit is easy.

Great little handheld for the price
Bought this for my wife who absolutely loves it. Fairly easy to use, though I would definitely recommend getting to know a little bit about linux file structures for if you decide to add a second micro SD card (max size I believe is a 64gb). Also recommend replacing the stock card that comes with it as quite a few have been known to become corrupted after a while. Have been able to do at least PSX and I believe also Saturn. Perfect screen size and also brighter than the original GBA SP, so games from the handheld eras look amazing. Performance is awesome, it’s pocket sized. The tru hard part has been finding a charging block that meets the power rating that is required.
