Good switch. Works fine.
Works well. A little loud in the wiring closet, but functionality is good. Have about 70% ports connected, and have seen no performance degradation.

Pretty functional 5 port 2.5G switch with basic LED indicators
This 2.5G 5 port switch from Tenda works pretty well. It’s designed with a plastic casing, all 5 ports on one side, and the single-color indicator LEDs on the flat top of the case. It might work better in a wall-mount deployment or some way that you can see the top surface more easily than how I stuck it in my media center shelf. Some other switches have multiple color LEDs that indicate the negotiated speed of the port but not this Tenda unit. The Tenda SE105 arrived with a 12V 1A wall-wart power supply that plugs in alongside where the network cables plug in. My switch arrived with one of the plastic clips on the housing not snapped tight, which is a strange assembly issue that was easily fixed with a little pressure. Overall, I think this Tenda switch is a strong contender among similar 5 port 2.5G switches that are $40 but it’s lacking when compared at the current $60 price.

Works flawlessly with average download/upload speeds in the 2300s. Highly recommend.

Energy prices are ridiculous… I had an old switch which was 10x more power than this one, which I bought to save energy. Used energy plugs to see the difference between the two (old model and this replacement when received) and what a difference! The performance on my network didn’t blink, just the same…. The energy used confirmed as 1/10th of what I’d been using. For the price, I calculated that this purchase would pay for itself in less than 4 months, so was an utter no brainer in todays crazy energy price. Pays for itself, and no impact to performance.

I got this 5-port switch to replace my old wireless router, which had more features than I needed. Since I already have another wireless router, I didn’t need the Wi-Fi function—just a reliable wired connection.This switch is much smaller and lighter than my old router, making it a great space-saving option. It was incredibly easy to set up, with no configuration required. I just plugged it in, and it worked straight away.Each port supports speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps, which is great for ensuring a fast and stable connection. I use it to connect my TV, security cameras, and media player, and it has handled everything smoothly with no issues.The switch has a plastic casing and is fanless, so it runs quietly without adding any noise to the room. The indicator lights are quite small, but that’s not an issue for me since I have it mounted high up. My previous switch had lights on the top, which I couldn’t see anyway, so this design works just as well for my setup.So far, I’ve been really happy with this device. It’s simple, efficient, and does exactly what I need it to do.
