Small but is exactly what you need
This thing is tiny, but don’t take that for granted, I had no slow down in speeds between my NAS and my personal laptop or Internet downloads. I used this Ethernet switch to replace a full TP-link WiFi access point that I substituted as a switch for my office due to time. 10/10 would recommend for the home user looking for a tiny yet effective Ethernet switch.

Excellent speeds
Excellent speeds. Plastic case get little warm. May be that is expected. I returned it and bought same brand but metal case one.

Exactly as described
The router I access is in my daughters house. I live in a trailer out back. Living in an aluminum box is like living in a faraday cage. No radio waves get in and my cellphone can’t get out. I had to stretch out 100 feet (For all you Europeans out there that is 30.48 meters) This Tenda SG105, 5 Port Gigabit Switch Is the answer to my problem. I just plugged my ethernet cable into the switch’s first port, plugged the other end of the cable into my computers ethernet port. My computer is near 20 years old and neither the motherboard or the ethernet card put out wifi signal. I have an old Asus DSL router, so I plugged it in and attached a a second ethernet cable into port 2 on the Tenda SG105, 5 Port Gigabit Switch into the back of the Asus router and Shazam, I got bangin’ wifi. Cell signal is still not coming thru but my Pixels 7 wifi calls in or out. You folks at Tenda are Bitchin’, Thanks

Super tiny powerhouse.
OMG…A lot of the pictures on Amazon don’t really communicate how small this thing is……this is the tiniest gigabit switch I’ve ever seen. I was needing a small one to hold about four ethernet connections in a very cramped cabinet space. This is exactly what I was hoping for and I was blown away at how small this thing was….and even it’s little power supply wall wart is very small. Highly recommended for home users needing free space. I’ll come back and update my review if I have issues, but for now I just had to stress how small this thing is.

Very small lightweight network switch
This is not only a cheap product (less than 1/2 the cost of most other switches I saw on Amazon), but it is also the smallest network switch I’ve ever seen/owned. I can’t speak to it’s durability under heavy loads (since I haven’t had the chance to “stress test” the switch), but I have confirmed that the switch at least does the basic things you would expect a switch to do.And in my case the small size/weight of the switch is a real advantage, as I’m planning to take the switch with me on trips and use it to expand the number of ethernet ports available with my “travel router”. As such, having something that is small and lightweight to pack is handy. And since this switch only cost me $10 + tax, I’m not exactly out a lot of money by getting this specific switch…

The entire package is very light. The power cable is light. The switch is light. Plug and play.

I have an ethernet cable running through a wall into the back of my smart TV. I switched from satellite to an IP TV box for live TV. But being in the basement the wifi signal was spotty and I’d get quality degrading while watching. Bought this switch to share my ethernet line, one direct to the TV and the other to my Android TV box. Both now work perfectly. Love that it’s so small because it’s sitting against the wall hidden behind the television….. and you can’t beat the price.

I plugged it in, and it works, and has been since I fired it up, so no complaints. It is connected to a wireless access point and a network video recorder and appears to have no problems handling the traffic.
