My thermostat is not heating or cooling, what should I do?
Assuming that you choose Heat Pump, please check whether your cooling or heating is selected correctly, you can try to “Reverse Valve Energize” inside the cool and heat to switch each other to see whether it is back to normal!
If the temperature deviates too much, is there any way to calibrate my displayed temperature?
Try to enter the device sensor setting interface to adjust the temperature. Path: Menu–>Settings–>Advanced–>Sensor Calibration, and adjust the Current Reading temperature to the temperature at which the thermometer is left standing.
The thermostat is locked and I can’t edit/modify the thermostat, how can I unlock it?
Please click the “O” button of the thermostat 3 times continuously or remove the thermostat from the wall and hang it up again to complete the unlocking.
How can I set up a Filter notification or warning on the Vine?
Your filter warning is built into the thermostat and it defaults to 6 months of activity of the unit. A filter icon will appear on the thermostat when it is time to change it. Setting the filter change reminder: Menu-> Setting -> Advanced -> Runtime.

smart, reliable best choice for smart thermostat
This Vine smart thermostat has been a great upgrade for my home so far. It was easy to install, and once it was connected to WiFi, controlling the temperature through Alexa Assistant felt super convenient. I really like the 7-day, 8-period programmable schedule because it lets me fine-tune my heating and cooling to match my daily routine without constantly adjusting it. The interface is clear and responsive, and it hasn’t given me any glitches or connection issues. It’s also reassuring knowing it’s Energy Star certified, so I’m saving a bit on energy while keeping the house comfortable. I bought this thermostat thinking, people must be doing something wrong (other Amazon listing has 500+ reviews). I told myself, if the temp is reading incorrectly, I can just use the calibration setting to dial it in. This thermostat looks great, and honestly the app and WiFi are great- However… the thermostat didn’t do its actual job, to maintain or read the temperature!Right off the bat it read 4 degrees hotter in the room after installing. I used the calibration setting in advanced, and corrected it. Then it widely fluctuated over the first night, sometimes dropping down 10-14 degrees below actual. By the morning it was showing that the room was 75 degrees, and I had it set at cool, 77 degrees. I was sweating so I confirmed on a digital thermostat that it was 83 in the room.Calibrated it again hoping that would help.. it didn’t. This thermostat just doesn’t read the correct temp in the room regardless of how you calibrate it. As others said, I have no idea how this company is in business, as their thermostat product line doesn’t do the simple job that it is intended to do. Spend the little extra for a reputable brand, it’s not worth you going crazy trying to figure out what temperature this is going to pick, or having your AC/heat cycle on and off… or worse run all day when your gone trying to get your house to an imaginary temperature.

Good but not great
On the plus side: installation is simple, the thermostat looks great with a bright display and it has lots of adjustable features. On the minus side, like other users, I had to adjust the ambient temperature display at +6 deg Fahrenheit to be accurate and the outside temperature displayed seems to be updated randomly so it rarely is accurate. I contacted support to see what could be done about this 4 days ago … Awaiting a reply. All things considered, I like the thermostat and the app and wifi control, I am keeping it.
