Great Educational Tablet for Young Kids with Excellent Parental Controls
The Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Tablet has been a wonderful tool for my 2-year-old neurodivergent toddler. I mainly got this specifically during moments when I need to keep her occupied, like styling her hair or transitioning between activities she prefers less. It’s engaging, easy to navigate, and filled with age-appropriate content that keeps her entertained without overstimulation.I like that the parental control is customizable like our other well-known brand tablet. I can limit what she has access to, adjust screen time, and still ensure she has plenty of fun and educational apps to enjoy. The Amazon Kids+ library is excellent, with a great mix of games, books, and videos designed for learning through play.The tablet’s bright HD screen, sturdy build , and kid-proof case make it perfect for my toddler’s little hands. I tested the battery life, and it actually lasts from several hours to a day. The only downside is the 32 GB of storage because it fills up quickly, and when it does, the tablet starts to lag a bit, so I occasionally need to delete unused apps.

Great dual-use tablet
We upgraded from an earlier generation after many years of use. This is the same excellent quality tablet just with a bigger screen with better resolution. I have my own laptop, but the kiddo is in love with her new device. The Amazon Kids subscription that’s included has some great games she’s been enjoying, and it’s been very easy to set up all the content and parental controls. The case is extremely durable and having the 2 year warranty is a great peace of mind. Being able to switch to a parent profile to use in a pinch is also a plus. Getting the Disney Princess Edition and pairing it with a similar protective case is a real winner for a special occasion!

Great for toddlers
This thing has taken a major beating and still works great. Battery doesn’t last forever, but manages to stick around for hours of continuous use by multiple kids. With the subscription the kids have plenty of games to play and videos to watch, but doesn’t have much memory.

Bought this initially to go on a trip and didn’t want to be the parent with a toddler throwing a fit on the plane. This tablet works well enough but has some flaws I don’t love.Getting back and forth from kids mode to parent mode can be confusing and a pain sometimes and we only go into parent mode to adjust settings or setup WiFi. There really isn’t very much space on the tablet for apps and games. I constantly have to remove and adjust the apps to add new things he wants.My biggest issue is that YouTube Kids isn’t available on the tablet. It took me the longest time to figure out why (some excuse about it not being available in the App Store). This is a tablet FOR KIDS and the kid friendly YouTube app is t available on it… I hate YouTube, my kid loves it but he ends up on weird videos and I have to reset the algorithm almost daily. If I had YouTube Kids he would only be able to watch what I’ve already approved. It would make me feel much better.

Amazing safe and affordable tablet for kids
Amazon kids tablets are an absolute parenting essential! Tired of not being able to take your kids in public without tantrums? Do long car rides leave you promising yourself that you never take a family vacation ever again? This is the device for you!! This device is the only one for kids that meets fun with an excellent parental control software especially for younger children. Parental controls for any other device that a child might use are a nightmare to try to configure, not always effective, and often require a hefty subscription cost. The kids fire tablet does this all in one. I really hope that Amazon keeps making their kids tablets better and better to meet the needs of modern day parents and kids. One thing I would love though is if Amazon could improve the memory capacity on the tablet without having to buy an additional memory card. I would also really like it if Amazon could improve the sound controls and make Amazon Kids compatible with bluetooth headphones. I really think that these little tablets are powerful and show a lot of potential. It is the only internet connected device we trust our kids with 100%.
