You NEED one of these!
This is a STEAL. It’s an absolutely awesome device, fast, powerful and completely pocketable. I got over 20 systems and over 3000 games in it, am able to create my libraries, organize my games as I want. Battery life is also amazing, lasts hours. I specially love how good it looks and feels premium in the hands. One thing: this is a linux device and those can be quite tricky to customize and maintain working flawlessly. It’s also a black hole of time if you get too deep into tinkering. However, if you just keep it stock and play what you take out of the box, it’s pretty much plug and play. Be careful of the temptation of ultra personalize it following Reddit and Youtube ideas.

Mines was just defective
I’m only riding this because I believe mine’s was defective. Other than that. Everything else wanted work flawless it just would not upload the games I was putting on there for any means I went through every step properly. It was just messed up internally. i’m hoping the next device I get tomorrow is a lot better if it is, I’ll just add an extension to this review.

It’s good. Real good.
This is an amazing handheld. It’s more expensive here than on AliExpress but I bought it to try it out and now it’s my daily driver. My screen has a little light bleed on the bottom but you can only tell in a dark room when the screen shows black but that’s what’s great about Amazon you can get it replaced. There are no ROMs that come with this which means you have to do your own set up. I’m not new to android handhelds so it was super easy. It’s got a good standby time and battery life.I replaced my buttons with Sakura Modding Buttons, Low Profile HypeStix and a JCSFY grip. It’s great for GameCube and under, I say just do it if you’re in the market for this 4:3 handheld

Great handheld retro system, requires a little tech skill to make it work
This is a really GOOD system.Works flawlessly. But it doesn’t come with any games.I already had a bunch of ROMs that I copied from another system I purchased. So, you need to know how/where to get ROMS, you need to know how to copy to a TF card, and where to copy them to on the handheld, or how to link the folders, and then you need to establish the link between the emulator and the correct ROM storage location. It isn’t difficult at all, and you can find plenty of help online to describe how to do it.I’m still working out how to configure the controls for the Dolphin emulator, and there are some games that require using the Nin10do nunchuck controllers aimed like a weapon, or swung, so those obviously won’t work with the included accelerometer. But steering for the Kart games should work, and I haven’t figured it out quite yet. It’s pretty intuitive to figure out how to load and exit games, save states, etc.The more advanced chipset over the lower tier of handhelds makes this work so well, but not QUITE good enough for the more intensive GameCube, PS2, etc.But for the price, this does SO MUCH more than the tier below it, and pretty much everything the slightly-more-expensive handhelds can do. Definitely a good value.Buttons and controls are all great.I can slide it into the back pocket of my jeans, but the shoulder buttons are too big to slide into the front pocket.Very comfortable to holdAll in all, zero complaints about this.I’d been messing around with the lower tier and trying to figure out which ones of about a dozen I would want to keep, for screen size, or controls, or game emulation. This solves my problem. I can let them all go, and just use this one.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Good mid range handheld up to ps2
I got the RG476h to replace an rgcube they share the same processor which allows emulation up to most ps2 games. The rgcube had better overall ergonomics, but the rg476h feels more premium with better build quality, the heat management also seems to be quite a bit better where as the rgcube fans would spin quite a bit more often. I uninstalled all the bloat ware that I could that ambernic installs, I wasn’t able to completely uninstall the rglauncher as I these come with a locked bootloader so I couldn’t root the device to get rid of it but I used icebox to disable it along with button remapper to get emustation to be the default launcher. Once I had everything all setup it’s become quite the capable device and my daily driver. It’s lightweight, compact id say it’s probably pocketable but definitely on the big side. The battery life is decent about 5-6 hours for most of the older gen console games I play. The buttons feel good and responsive. The analog sticks aren’t what I would call full size but are decent with my small hands. I think overall it’s a good value proposition up to most ps2 games.
