Echo Show 8 Adjustable Stand
I really enjoy this stand. My Echo Show 8 fits like it was the base another part. It was easy to put the two together. The Echo Show 8 device fits tight no problem moving around or picking up. I really enjoy the white color over my other device being black. The white stands out from around thing around it even other white objects. I have not used the charging part; forgot it was there. When I was buying my Echo Show 8, I was hoping there was a base it could set on. This stand is like a dream working greatly. This stand makes the device able to move easier and to pick up. I got both on the discount days. The stand is a value for the money costing $30-$40 or less for sure.

All around excellent choice
I am extremely happy with this echo show eight. I’m usually one to use a different kind of tablet, and I read on a Kindle,, but this I felt would work seamlessly with all my ring devices. It does! I also wanted some thing a little more than just a smart home hub. This fits the bill. It connects really well and the sound quality and color graphics are excellent. I have about five cameras and a ring doorbell that I can see all the same time. It’s an added bonus that you have the option to use the privacy feature on the camera that’s on this echo eight. I could turn it on if I’m out of town and want to keep an eye on my kitchen, or keep it closed for a reassurance of privacy. I keep the device in my kitchen so I can use it to pull up recipes or listen to audiobooks and music. The speaker has fantastic sound. I got this during the prime day so it was a very good value for the money, especially since I would say it is even when it’s not on sale. I also purchased the stand to go with it. I’m thinking of purchasing a larger one and then using this one in my bedroom because I love it so much. I was pleasantly surprised and I’m very happy with this echo device!

The hardware side of this device is excellent. Alexa sucks, and continually deteriorates!
Alexa was great until they started trying to do AI and sell add on services. Now, suddenly it doesn’t understand anything I say.Sorry, I can’t help you with that.I have Gemini on my phone and no cost at all and it has replaced Alexa for me.The touch screen is great on this. Hardware, speakers, buttons, add-on-base I purchased are all decent quality. I want watch my FUBOTV subscription on it, but it will not allow.Ambient Visions subscription moves In and Out of working the way it’s promised. If you create a routine to open a particular video, it forgets where to go retrieve the file. Once it opens Ambient Visions when I go to sleep at night, it no longer recognizes Alexa commands. As they progress, Alexa gets worse and worse!I love Ambient Visions. I just wish I could use it like I used to.

Still a useful device, despite the fact that I haven’t explored everything yet!
I was expecting a device that operated more like a cell phone. This device has Amazon silk, which is effective but I found navigating from place to place a little clunky. And you really can’t rely on Alexa to all things. You have to touch the screen to complete a command in some cases depending on where you are application wise. Anyway, the the point of all this is that the operating system felt clunky. Speakers are pretty good. For instance, when I watched the Elon’s starship take off, the sound quality was pretty good with all of the crackling and bass of a starship launch. Flight 11 was great! Also, being able to plug in your phone on the optional stand is a plus.

The BEST purchase as a SAHM. I love this. My toddler loves this. I use it everyday even just for background music. Wish I bought this a long time ago but I was nervous with the price. Definitely worth the money and I have had no issues with it. We did get the stand for it and so the sound is perfect. Wish I didn’t wait so long to purchase!

Great upgrade from 1st gen, Alexa+ is amazing.
Great display. I upgraded from a first generation and there is a huge improvement. Alexa+ is a little slower to respond than the original Alexa and the display intermittently goes black but comes back on. I like the slide to cover the camera now. I also purchased the base to raise it off the counter and it looks good. The 8” display is nice. We love having conversations with Alexa +.

Useful for Viewing the Show
I purchased the stand so that I could adjust the view angle and raise the Show off of the table slightly. It does both of these so it meets my requirements. It has a micro-C port on the back evidently for hooking up external speakers; but, that is of little use to me. I found it a little costly for what I wanted it to do.
