These things work great, even under extream conditions, and the play well with Alexa
I have been using these and other Govee products for 3 or 4 years, maybe longer now. I just ordered more Govee Smart Plug 15A, WiFi Bluetooth Single Outlets because I’m always figuring out another way to use them. I had just employed my last one when I found another place to put one so I ordered more.These outet/switches work well with Alexa. They are easily set up and managed with the Govee easy to use app. You name them, set them to work as lights or outlets, set a schedule for them to go off and on and more. Even if they are on a schedule turn them on or off at anytime with the app, Alexa, or there is a button you can use right on the plug. At any time you can have Alexa turn them on for 45 minutes, or two hours or whatever. You can change settings or manipulate them from anywhere with your phone or other device with the app. If you have switch/outlet on a schedule it will override Alexa at the next scheduled event. It’s easy to get set them up in Alexa, create groups, like holiday lights. Then you can move any number of these in or out of that group, or groups any time you want. Anyway the possibility’s are great.These work well on WiFi or Bluetooth, I run them almost exclusively on WiFi for my purposes. Range is great on 2.4 GIG WiFi signal. I use them to manage lights and lamps when I travel, holiday lights, inside and out. I have these outside in outdoor outlets with those plastic lids that fold down to cover the outlets and cords come out the bottom. I have 3 out there year round running a water fountain, outdoor lights, and a 1 1/2 HP pool pump, and in a little over 3 years not one has failed. I’m not saying you should use them outdoors, but I do and they have held up above and beyond my expectations.I likely have a couple of dozen running, some single, some duel outlets. On the duel outlets you can program/scheduel each side of the plug individually. The Govee app can handle a bunch of things, and they have more than just plugs/switches to help you manage your home from just about anywhere by WiFi.Great products and a good price. GO GOVEE!

Love these smart plugs! The setup was easy and intuitive, and I had zero Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity issues. Between the plugs and the easy to use app, they work like a charm.I was worried that they’d be so bulky that they would block other slots in the outlets, but they’re not at all. And they come at a great price! I will absolutely buy these again if I ever need more smart plugs. Highly recommended!

No fuss setup, works great, app is a bit clumsy
I got these not so much for your normal smart home integration, but more because I needed to ensure kids devices would be powered down outside of certain hours. No more midnight tv on school days, that sort of thing.The setup was easy – search for the device in the app with bluetooth, press a button on the smart plug to confirm, enter the network password and you’re set. Unplug it and slot it where you’re going to use it.The app lets you set up a simple schedule – each event to turn on or off is a separate schedule, but you can select which days of the week you want it to occur on – or a timer, and it does what it says. It also allows Alexa/Google Home/etc integration, but I did not do that. I don’t want my kids to say “turn my tv back on,” and I don’t think there’s any sort of granular mechanism relating to voice controls and users.If that’s all you’re doing, you’re at 5 stars, but if you want to dive into more features than that, it gets (only a little) less great.The app was feature filled though a little klunky. I kept using my (android) device’s back button and sometimes it would exit the app – it was waiting for me to hit the “x” in the top right corner, or the “<" in the top left, or perhaps a "save" or "done" button in the top right instead.After adding a device, I wanted to create a new room and put the device in that room, but this required creating an account for some reason. Luckily Account creation was relatively painless, though I did have to verify my email address with a 4 digit code. There appeared to be some other features, perhaps hidden behind a subscription, but I did not investigate them further.In any case, after the new room was created, I had to jump through a number of menus: room management -> gear icon -> room I created -> device list -> add device -> done -> back arrow -> “x” icon -> now at home screen again.The third time I went through this, the new device showed up on the landing page of the room management and I didn’t have to explicitly search for a new device to be added, like it had refreshed something in the background, but it didn’t do this for the prior 2 plugs? Again, nothing was broken or impossible, but it was a little bit kludgy.I wasn’t surprised, a lot of these non-name-brand smart home devices have their own apps and the quality on individual features is all over the board, and this wasn’t the worst I’ve ever seen.

Easy Set-Up and works
Only used 1 so far, but works exactly as described. Plug into wall and then we plugged a pre-lit Christmas tree into it. you can then set timers or schedules for turning it off/on as desired. Very easy set-up and use in the Govee App.

Neat product that make home automation rather easy. Plug the device in, use the Govee app to locate said device and add it to your home setup. Works on both Bluetooth and wi-fi. Follow the directions and within 5 minutes I had two of these installed and powering my devices. I now have the ability to remotely activate these appliances to give the impression I am around.

Bought these to replace a different branch I had bought 3 years ago that had gone on the fritz, one of them turning off and on again which was entertaining.Easy to set up, app is intuitive to use and responsive.
