Easy to use and Print quality is good
It’s only a few week old but So far I love it. it is so easy to use. Airprint works very well, Even my parent could print from there phones. print quality is very good and crisp. It just a great job what is need it for. I also like that you can scan and email it.

HP LaserJet 3101dfw’s a Winner!
I bought a ‘Like New’ printer direct from Amazon Warehouse for $190.17 and it was indeed ‘like new’, hadn’t even had the protective sticker on the screen removed.Toner level registered as full;Super easy hook up with onscreen controls on the printer. Also easy on the HP Smart app (there’s one for my iPhone and for my Macbook Pro on their respective App Stores).Print quality’s great and really fast compared to my old HP Color printer (6 to 7 years old.Double sided printing’s new to me and I like the paper savings.Built-in copying’s also new to me, previously having to use a stand alone scanner wih janky software with iffy driver issues.Regular scanning’s also easy, esp with the app; you can scan to a folder on the app, to email and to my iPhone’s messages. I haven’t been able to scan with the button on the built in screen (keeps saying network issue), but works like a charm from my phone or laptop.The built in on-screen copy button works fine.Don’t know about ink capacity yet but reviews indicate it’s good.Overall i give this 5 stars. Time will tell.

Printer from Amazon resale store.
This was a return/resale item thru the amazon resale store, box was fine, not crushed or dented, the printer had absolutely no sign of usage, hooked it up, connected itself to the network, printing was great until the cartridge stopped at 800 copies. Had to buy a new cartridge.. Not sure if the original cartridge that comes with the printer is only good for 800 printed pages so did not purchase a HP cartridge replacement, instead purchased an after market one thru Amazon with the chip inside. Only issue is that it said it would be delivered the next day, scheduled for today, three days late.

Very nice unit. No instant Ink required.
Nice MFC machine.You cannot use instant ink on this model though. I’m not really a fan of HP’s instant ink program anyway. I mean why do you have to continue to pay them monthly to print documents? Be aware also, that the printer cartridges have to have the HP chip installed. Generic cartridges will not work. (Ahh…the good old days) After all that the scanning feature is super fast, and mobile faxing is good for multiple pages. Last note, I wouldn’t buy a HP printer that doesn’t have a screen display or function. I replaced a HP printer that only had the multi colored light. Too have to troubleshoot, if you run into a problem after the initial setup is completed. (like moving, or using it after being held in storage)

The paper drawer will not slide back in, wireless connectivity problems
This printer worked great for 3 days. Then (as another reviewer had previously noted was his/her experience), the paper drawer decided it would not slide in all the way, stopped 4″ short of complete sliding-back-in. It was not obvious what the obsticle inside and undernearth the drawer was “hitting,” and I tried everything: turning it upside down, checking for paper jams, removing the ink cartridge. I loved the scanning-to-USB capability. Printed well, when the drawer would slide back in (for 3 days). I had to reboot it to pick up the wireless internet connection quite a bit, but I could tolerate that (sort of). I am returning and shopping another product, maybe a Brother or Cannon. So disappointed in HP! Wasted a lot of my precious time!

HP reliability & features in a compact size
Perfect size and not too heavy to handle. Setup was pretty easy with my Mac Mini Ethernet network. It prints pretty fast, even from my cellphone via WiFi. Nice to have the scanner feature allowing it to be used as a copier too. I haven’t tried the Fax feature yet, but nice to know it’s there when I might need to send a fax.

This is a great printer, fast, efficient and everything you’d need in a laser. The one downfall though is it’s big , bulky and takes up more space than I would like, however for the quality I’m ok with it. Super fast printing and was crazy way to set up with an Apple computer.
