am so thrilled with my Intel NUC 11 Mini PC with Quad-Core Celeron N5105 and 8GB DDR4 RAM! I was in the market for a versatile and compact mini computer that could function as an IoT gateway, but I didn’t want to break the bank. The NUC 11 was the perfect solution.First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable this mini computer was. Despite its impressive specs and powerful processor, it was well within my budget. Small, fast, expandable, and quiet
I bought one of these to setup a media, surveillance, and home automation server. As usual for until the build quality is outstanding, and it is very easily serviceable. The i7-1270P is fast, and has Iris XE graphics for hardware transcoding of AV1, H.265, and H.264 media. The expandability is great. It will accept up to 64 GB of RAM, one full size 2280 pcie4x4 nvme m.2 SSD drive and another m.2 2242 SATA drive. It has Wi-Fi 6e, HDMI out, two Thunderbolt 4 usb-c ports, and also usb-A 3.2 (10Gb) ports. It will charge up to 35 watts via USB-C PD through one of the ports. With 4 hyperthreaded P cores and 8 E cores (16 threads) there isn’t much it can’t do. It’s also very quiet, and draws less than 15W at idle. I am running Ubuntu 22.04 and Docker on this but of course it can also run Windows 11 which comes pre-installed. Overall I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

Excellent value, excellent experience
I bought this little computer to replace an HP all in one that is more than 8 years old. It had been upgraded with a solid state drive and more RAM, but it was showing its age. I wasn’t sure this Intel NUC would really perform the way it was supposed to, but it was worth the low price to take a chance on it. Well, it works better than I had hoped. I just use my computer for keeping our household accounts and some web browsing, and this machine is almost over powered for my needs. Not that I’m complaining! It puts a beautiful picture on my new 27″ monitor, plays music through my new speakers, and generally does everything I need and want for it to do, and does it all for a lower purchase price than the computer it replaces. I’m really happy with it.

Absolutly a great purchase
I bought this PC to replace my old tower PC for general home and small business use. It has 4 times the memory and many times the speed as my old computer at 2/3 the cost. I am not a computer person and was dreading the set-up but to my surprise it was easy-peasy. Just connect the periferals turn on the system and in a few minutes I was up and running. I have been using it now for 30 days without a hitch. I love the small foot print since I don’t have a lot of room on my workspace and now my desk lamp takes up more space than the Intel NUK.

Failed after less than 3 months – Horrible “Customer Service”
The computer failed to boot after less than 3 months. First I called Intel, because its an Intel product right? That was a waste of time. They directed to asus for the warranty. I was required to send in the unit and power supply, because it was a power related issue. Asus sent me back another unit, not my original, which I am guessing is refurbished. But they didn’t send back the power supply. So another call back to asus 4 days ago. They created a new case number and said it would go out asap, but I received no shipping notification. So I had to call back again. This time they questioned whether I had shipped them the power supply. They said it would be another 2 weeks to verify I did ship them the power supply and ship a new one. Just horrible “Customer Service” leaving me without a computer for 3 weeks or more.

The computer has performed very well for everyday use. It is reasonably fast for daily use. No problems with it after about 4 years of use.

We purchased a NUC mini several months ago, and this is our 4th purchase now. These are amazingly easy to setup, take the software loads quickly, and smoothly. They are quiet, have plenty of power, and all the end-users we have issued these to absolutely love them. We are now placing these in every conference room in the building, and using them to replace bulky desktops. and best of all, they use quality components and feel solidly built. We’ll be buying more soon! Our in-house I.T. Service Technicians have even purchased them for their home gaming use because they love them so much.
