I’ve purchased 3 of these in the past 3 years since I have multiple “workstations” at different houses. Works well with my Dell XPS-13, but be sure to pay attention to the pictures and description to ensure it will fit your needs as it’s “Triple Screen” modes will differ depending on your hardware (PC, MacBook, GPU settings, etc.). The most recent purchase I made had an issue where HDMI Port 2 stopped working. I confirmed this by swapping it out with another dongle (same product, just purchased at a different time). Seeing as how it was less than a year since purchasing, I reached out to customer support to see if they could help me…I honestly had low expectations and wasn’t expecting a response since it’s an overseas company (probably across the world in China) but they actually responded early the next morning! Customer support was helpful and had me follow some simple troubleshooting instructions to confirm the dongle was in-fact defective and so they sent me a brand new replacement which is working great. Very happy with this product and the customer support. I do agree with the other reviewers that after a full 8 hour work day, the dongle does feel warm to the touch but even my oldest dongle from 3 years ago is still working fine so I don’t have an issue with it.

HDMI ports stopped working
It worked well (mostly) for the first 4 months. USB-C ports were always a bit sketchy. After an evil Windows update, HDMI ports weren’t working for my 23-in monitors (worked in laptop’s HDMI port). Learned from LIONWEI support that cables need to be the same on both ends. I had bought a 2nd hub by then, but HDMI still ports didn’t work. Finally got a 32-inch monitor with a HDMI-HMDI cable that is now plugged into my laptop and gave the two 23-inch monitors to my grown kid. LIONWEI offered a rebate, but I didn’t take them up on as their product wasn’t the problem. Evil Windows updates happen. If you get hit by one, update your monitor drivers, and update your video cards. This worked for a family friend, but not for me…

Stopped working right after 5 months
Update on 9/10/2024: after I this review, the vendor reached out to me via Amazon to offer a full refund or a replacement. I wanted to give this device, which I really liked when it worked. another chance. It was shipped fast & I received the replacement in 3 days. Great. It worked great, except, 3 of the 5 UDB ports didn’t work at all. I have replied to the oroiginal message explsining the issue. That was 3 days ago & no response.I was going to change my rating to 4-stars, but now I leave it as 1-star until this gets resolved. I am happy my HDMI port works & I have 2 working USB ports. But, this is not enough. I will update this review if & when I hear back from the vendor.—————————————————-So disappointed. I ordered it on March 2, 2014. It worked great for the 1st 5 months. For the past month the devices connected to the hub have been disconnecting in the middle of use. This means, I lose access to my mouse, additional screen, headset, etc. Rebooting the laptop sometimes works, but not all the times. I have the latest drivers. Starting the labor day weekend, I have no connectivity at all. My laptop only has 1 USB-C & without a USB-C mouse, I am forced to use the trackpad, which I hate & I can’t use my external monitor, which I really need for work.I have written to the manufacturer 3 times, but they have ignored me. I paid a lot of money for this unit so i will have a reliable device for work, when I could have paid 15 bucks for the same quality.I will not be purchasing this brand any more.

I can’t believe how many of these things I have purchased. They work great and the price is very fair. I have one at home, office, and in my computer bag for hoteling, one to wife and daughter to run a few monitors and simplify their set up. I have loaned (given) them to co-workers too. I’m up to 6 or 8 or these things and not one has died.

USB-C does not work for video
I was disappointed that USB-C ports were not fully functional, even though they were listed as 3.1. All the other ports worked fine so I was able to get the hub work for what I wanted.

Using Windows 10 on an HP ZBook… this thing works as well as the HP-brand $300 dock I have in my home office. Would recommend… oh wait, I haaaave recommended. Unfortunately, when things like this get popular, the price also seems to go up. I bought it for $90 only a few months ago, already it’s $110.

I purchased this to upgrade my old Kmart 4 in 1. This 11 in 1 doesn’t work at all. One screen works and the other is blank then both go on black screen. One screens says HDMI and then the other shows analog. Toggled many times and it’s not stable. I reverted to my old 4 in 1 which works fine. It’s on return process now.

Exactly what I needed. For home office to be able to switch between private laptop and work laptop and extend both on a second screen. A third screen seems to be possible as well (via HDMI only)Bluetooth mouse and keyboard could picked up straight away. The second screen did need the installation of the driver.Fairly straight forward. Work laptop has USB-C connection and private only USB, therefore this was the perfect solution for me that didn’t cost an arm and a leg.
