Great arm at a great price for Samsung Neo G9 57″
So far so good. I am using this arm with the Samsung Neo G9 57″. I was hesitant to purchase this arm at first since another reviewer had claimed that it’s not able to support the monitor. However, with some tightening, it supports my monitor perfectly. There has not been any sag or drooping of the screen. Operation of the monitor is smooth and the range of motion is good.As other reviewers have mentioned, the stand design is a bit frustrating as the monitor must be removed to slide the stand. However, I recommend eyeballing the location of the center of the mount by attaching the arm and pushing it down into place before putting the monitor arm. That allows you to approximate where the monitor will be once attached. Aside from this, it was very easy to put together and I was able to get the large monitor onto it without the help of another person.Overall, if you’re looking for a budget friendly monitor arm for the Samsung 57″, I would recommend trying this one.

    Sturdy, adjustable
Nice and sturdy. Holds Samsung Odyssey G9 with ease. Allowed me to push the monitor back another 3 inches further than factory stand plus gives a cleaner look than the bulky factory stand. I also like how it’s easy to hinge the monitor out to unhook or hook up new stuff like USB’s.

Life saver I work from home and this has helped me and was able to move around more without having the screen in one place, very solid and durable and easy to assemble

Strong, adaptable arm at a good price
This is a really good strong monitor arm. It’s capable of supporting a 57” monitor of up to 59.4lbs. I recently acquired a Samsung 40” curved monitor that weighs around 25lbs. My previous monitor arm would have been very stressed to adequately support the new monitor so I chose this one from monTEK. I noticed that a lot of reviews about this arm are just blatantly wrong about the limitations of it. A lot of people think the arm will only go 180 degrees. It’s written all over the Amazon ad pics and in the instructions that you can choose to set the arm up to swing either 180 degrees or 360 degrees. I have mine set up for 360 degree rotation. The arm is quite solid when clamped correctly, which leads me to my only complaint about it. I use the edge clamp on the back of my desk, and using this method means you need to use the “C” type clamp. The problem I ran into was that my included “C” clamp does not have 90 degree bends in it, so when I first assembled it and tightened up the clamp, the assembly would rock back and forth. This would have been a huge problem, but I found a work around that let me still use the arm. I took the silver metal piece from the “through the desk” assembly and used it on the under side of the desk to clamp to. Once I did this, the arm was rock solid. Not sure if anyone else has run across this issue yet, I didn’t see any complaints about it in the reviews, so maybe it’s just mine.Anyway, this arm is great. You can position the base anywhere you want, and it works just as well off center as it does centered. I chose off center to allow me to position the monitor as far back on my desk as possible. I really like the VESA adapter plate they include, it really makes installation very easy. Just screw the adapter plate to your monitor with the included screws, and hook it onto the end of the arm. The whole arm is super easy to assemble, not sure how anyone could say otherwise. When it’s set up, you can position your monitor however you like. It supports my new 40” curved monitor perfectly. The cable management is fine. Not sure what people complain about here, but it works well for my setup. Since my desk faces into my room, I really wanted a clean look at the back of my desk and this arm gives me just that. For the very reasonable price of this monitor arm, you really can’t go wrong. I looked at all kinds of arms before I made this choice and saw a number of ridiculously overpriced brands (we’re talking over $300 for a model that could support this size monitor). That same brand also had a lot of bad reviews relating to basic design flaws and cheap materials so I don’t understand why people would spend all the extra money, the monTEK arm was perfect for me. Strong, completely adaptable to your desk setup and it has a sleek look. My only complaint was the “C” clamp.

    Great value. Solid build quality.
Great value and just as solid as other arms costing much more. Install was quick and simple and it holds a 45” monitor easily once you adjust the arm tension. The mount design allows for desk positioning almost against the wall and you don’t have to get underneath to install with the clamp option.

    Too Short for Vertical Stacking
I bought this monitor arm expecting it could also go higher and allow me to place a monitor above another one. However, the arm only adjusts downward and is too short for vertical stacking. It works fine for a single monitor on the desk, but it cannot be used for mounting one monitor above another. The arm only moves forward but does not retract backward, so you cannot pull the monitor back.I have to return.

Great arm period, even better at the price.
This is a great arm mount. Pretty easy assembly overall, far better than any other I’ve had. My only complaint is the USB cables are far to long. You will have excess and you will have to deal with it somehow (obviously only even a factor if you get the USB model). I won’t dock any stars as it’s a minor annoyance on essentially an extra feature, but still annoying.

Picked it up to use with my 49-inch ultrawide G9 from Samsung. It was a bit complicated to assemble, but the build quality is very high and it’s super sturdy. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Well made, strong and sleek looking components. Setting it up to clamp onto my desk seems very secure. Holding up a massive Samsung 57″ Ultrawide monitor rigidly in place with no problem. Would buy again.

I love the heavy duty construction of the monTek Monitor Arm. I have it setup on a 27” monitor and the setup was easy. The only function I do not like is that it will not go low enough for my setup so it’s a little high. The lowest I can get it is 9” from the bottom of my monitor to the table top.

For anyone with the Samsung Odyssey Neo 57′ this is a solid choice. I assumed with the weight of the monitor that there would be limits to what a monitor arm could do yet I’ve been able to manipulate my display to my exact liking and can alter it with minimal effort. Also for anyone with a deep desk like mine – the arm from the base has a good length of reach. My current desk is a corner top so I figured I would be stuck on one side or the other but when I went to set things up I found that I could actually place it in the center back with no issues. If there was anything that I could change it would be the wiring channel. While I imagine most monitors do not have this issue, the issue with the Neo 57 is that you have the following cables to deal with: Power, AUX, 2x USB Type B, 2x USB-A, 3x HDMI & 1x DisplayPort.
