Lenovo Essential FHD Webcam is powered by a Full HD 1080P 2.1 Megapixel CMOS camera that allows your friends, family, and colleagues to see you as clear as day, even when they are worlds away. With full stereo dual-mics that are perfect for conferencing or long-distance video calls, they’ll be able to hear you loud and clear, every time.
Just Like The Real Thing – The innovative FHD 1080P camera delivers perfect high-resolution video and lets you set the scene with its ultra-wide 95° lens. Video alone is not enough, though, which is why two built-in mics capture crisp stereo audio from all directions.
Easy Plug-and-Play Setup – Simply unpack and unfold the camera when you want to do a call, and plug the USB 2.0 cable into any Windows or Mac device. Within seconds, you will be ready to go live on your favorite conferencing or streaming software, with no drivers necessary.
Mount Anywhere & Everywhere – With a 1.8 m cable, tripod support, and a flexible mounting mechanism, you can attach your webcam virtually anywhere. Even difficult angles work, thanks to the wide-angle, tilt controls, and 360° rotation. Just mount it, tilt it, and open the privacy shutter.
Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (MJPG) @ 30 Frame Rate (default)
Interface: USB 2.0 Cable Length: 1.8 m (5.9 ft)

Really nice webcam at a great price!
This webcam works just fine! So far I have only used it to play the game “Before Your Eyes” and some other gaming but it is easy to set up and it just works! Great price too!

Amazing!!!!!
Honestly one of the best webcams out there, the quality is so good it makes it look like 4k, amazing picture and video, worth the money.

Great for the home office
Super easy to use, love the built in camera cover. Only thing that I wasn’t super enthused with, was the way it sits on the monitor, not super secure and makes adjusting it a tiny bit of a pain. Other than that, great quality.

Got the lens cover..great
Got this for my doctor’s appointments and it worked great! I didn’t know what to take a picture of in order to show it works, but my word. For all the people that might get a thought that someone is watching (like me :)… there’s a cover to slide over the lens.Cool.

Greatest bang for your buck
For the price, this little guy shocked me. It’s not some insane quality and the low light performance leaves a lot to be desired but if you just want a webcam for your face or something this works. I originally bought one to monitor my 3D printer remotely but liked the quality enough that I bought a second for my computer.

Disappointing Durability and Customer Support
I was initially happy with the Lenovo FHD webcam—its video quality was very good while it worked. Unfortunately, it only lasted 2-3 months before it stopped functioning entirely. While the indicator light still turns on, there is no video output at all. I tested the webcam on multiple computers, but the issue persisted across all of them.I attempted to RMA the product through Lenovo’s website, but the process was so convoluted and frustrating that I ultimately gave up on trying to get a replacement. Given the webcam’s short lifespan and Lenovo’s lack of effective support, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. It’s a shame because the quality was promising at first, but reliability and after-sales service both fell far short.

Solid, No-Frills Webcam with a Must-Have Privacy Shutter
I picked up this webcam for my clients desktop setup (over 20 units), and it’s a great basic option. It’s super easy to plug and play—no complicated setup needed. The privacy shutter is a standout feature; honestly, it should be standard on all webcams these days. Audio pickup is decent, though I still recommend using headphones for better sound quality. It mounts securely on top of the monitor and stays put unless adjusting the shutter, which can nudge it a bit. For the price, it’s a cost-effective choice if you just need something simple and reliable.

The webcam is indeed Lenovo QHD webcam not the Lenovo 4K Pro, its false advertising.

Wide field, by comparison to ThinkPad built in unit and similar in quality, so better keep a neat office!Manual screen for privacy when not in use.
